My top social media marketing resources

I’m not gonna lie – if you want to be an expert in a certain field, you gotta have credible resources from which you can learn the basics, the little tricks and the trends in your field. With social media marketing, the difference is that the internet is full of profiles, websites and blogs that give you bits and pieces of information on various topics. But I’ve found from personal experience, what I think, are the most credible sources on social media marketing that have the “full-package” of knowledge, information and expertise.

Social Media Examiner

From the basics of social media marketing to expert interviews with some of the top professionals in the digital marketing industry, Social Media Examiner, has been one of my favourite resources for years now. If you subscribe to their newsletter, you’ll be getting their latest and most trending articles on your e-mail everyday (which sometimes is annoying, but overall, I like to be kept informed about the latest that is going on on social media channels).

Hootsuite

As a provider of social media scheduling and analytics tool, hootsuite has a great database of articles on the topic of social media marketing. In addition, they also provide free document templates like social media audit, social media strategy, offers and other temapltes that you can either download or open and save in Google drive.

Social Media Today

Rising to social media examiner’s level and definitely worth mentioning is Social Media Today. New features announcements, best practices and other educational content powers this outlet and its readers within the sphere.

Buffer

Not far off from Hootsuite is also Buffer’s blog. Content here and on Hootsuite is similar, but I follow both because best practices and examples differ and it’s always good to have a few sources

Udemy

Now, when it comes to low price courses that are actually worth your money – I found Udemy to be a great source of knowledge. Make sure to read the course outline and a few reviews before you purchase though. You can find anything from full social media marketing courses to channel-specific ones, content creation courses, photography, videography and everything related to digital marketing.

  1. Did you write the article yourself or you hired someone to do it?
I was wondering because I am a site owner too and struggle with
writing new content all the time. Someone told me to
use AI to do create articles which I am kinda considering because the
output is almost written by human. Here is the sample content they sent me – https://sites.google.com/view/best-ai-content-writing-tools/home

Let me know if you think I should go ahead and use AI.
